Cartoonist Joe Wos is coming to town to present his Once Upon a Toon program. He will be presenting one program at the Columbia Public Library on September 21 from 7:00 – 7:45 p.m. in the Children’s area. He will also be presenting the program at the Intersection on September 22 from 4:30 – 5:15 p.m. Here’s more from the library website:
Joe Wos never fails to amaze and entertain with his quick wit and lightning-fast drawings of original stories, classic fables and folk tales. This unique one-man show combines storytelling with quick-draw cartooning yielding 20 or more original drawings per show. Families, ages 4 and older.
Side note: I forgot to mention that James Mouser taught a couple of creative cartooning classes at the Library this summer. One was in Callaway on July 14th, and one was August 13th in Columbia.
