Update: Because of freezing rain and ice, the Pitchers and Pitchers event has been canceled. We are planning a reschedule, so check back later.
Midmococo’s second Pictures and Pitchers event has been decided! We are going to meet at Gumby’s Pizza Saturday, December 8th, at 7:00. Bring your pencils, your pens, your paper, your appetite and your thirst! Just like last year, this is an excuse to get together with you fellow mid-Missouri comic creators and enjoy working on your art while sharing a tasty beverage. I stopped by Quinlan Keep and Boen’s dad had a couple of names of people also interested in participating in the event this year, so it sounds like we’re going to have the same turnout as last year, if not better! I’m really excited about that. I did want to give you all a heads up to make sure everyone gets there at about 11:00-11:30 to make sure we can get the seating set-up all situated before the event begins.
Also, Kristin finished the flyer for the event and it looks great. I will be going around downtown during my lunchbreak to put them up wherever I can. I will mainly concentrate on getting them up around downtown and then later putting them up around Mizzou. If anyone can think of anywhere else to post them or would like to help out please let me know as I have the master copy with me and can make extra copies.
Looks like this is going to be another solid event for us! Looking forward to seeing you all there!
